Chae Son Waterfall

A waterfall formed by the Mae Mon River flows through the terrain of different heights. There are six floors in total. Each floor has a puddle to support it and has a diverse beauty and can be reached by car or walking. It is about 1 km from the headquarters office.

 Chae Son Hot Spring

It's located in a large rocky area right next to the visitor center. The hot water that emerges to the rocky surface can be around 73 °C which is a bit too hot for bathing. The hot water of the springs flows down to a few other ponds where the temperatures are more pleasant for bathing, around 39-42 °C. The hot water streams all the way down to the nearby Mae Mon Creek, where it is possible to have a bath too. One traditional activity at the springs is to boil eggs in the hot springs. Eggs are put in bamboo baskets and lowered down to the bottom of the ponds with a stick. An egg boiled for about 15 minutes will become an egg onsen.

The mineral baths

The park's most popular activity is having a bath in the hot waters of the hot springs, either outdoors in one of the ponds or indoors in one of the huts available for rent for a smaller fee. Take a bath as a treatment for the fatigue of the body, making it feel refreshed, helping the blood to circulate nicely and helping to treat some skin diseases such as eczema, rashes, etc. The temperature of the mineral water used in the bath is about 39-42 degrees Celsius. The mineral water used for bathing is pumped directly from the hot springs, which is clean and safe.
